Providing our community with quality beef is one of the key reasons we are in the cattle business.
We raise every calf that goes through our beef market. This allows us to know the care of the calves reaches our high standards.
All of our cattle are pastured raised and grain finished. We grow everything that every calf consumes from the pasture grasses to additional forage and even the feed used to reach harvest weights.
All cattle are processed at a USDA inspected processing facility. The beef is dry aged, then cut, wrapped and frozen to ensure optimum beef quality. SK Herefords beef is naturally tender and juicy due to the marbling occurring in the beef. Marbling ensures that during the cooking process, the fat cooks out and leaves the juices in the meat for tenderness.
